A dictionary/glossary/lexicon as sort of a cosmic, meeting of the minds, collaboration of the likes of Dan Webster, Sam Johnson, Ambrose Bierce, Hunter S. Thompson, Wm. F. Buckley, Grouch Marx, W. C. Fields and many more... even though its editors are obscure unknowns with dreadfully dangerous senses of humor. Backackwards
Backackwards: The rather unfortunate second-generation corruption of "bass-ackwards". Definition: When Michael Steele "wears his hat" (as seen on Thursday's Morning Joe on MSNBC) in re. party affiliation. We love Mr. Steele. He has to be a gift from God, he just has to be. Seth MacFarlane could just cut and paste his infamous off-key misstatements into Family Guy. Seth, you just have to do it... We're begging you. You could have Stewie following him around with the off-key tuba. On the other hand, if Mr. Steele were a musician, he could be Stewie with a tuba. Three words: comedy. Gold. Mine. Gee whiz... ("That'll be sixty dollars").
