Solipsist nimbus: (1) Reference our posting in The American Political Handbook - Throw Your Shoes in the Air? (1.1) See the paragraph: "Also, what kind of solipsist nimbus must the outgoing administration be living under? Eco-crunch: Not our invention. But by the BBC, we believe (link here) and to other conversation and eco-groups (see the article). (1) Defined as a withdrawal of a society's resources by the same society or others without the intention of repaying the excess withdrawal. Not a funny term - a bit chilling. Perhaps, a new type of "eco-warfare". (2) Ironically, another form of the global credit crunch to be experienced at a future date when these resources are depleted, overused, and so on...

Kansas City Toedance

Kansas City Toedance: NOT OUR INVENTION, but a term you might be unfamiliar with if you've never traveled south of the Mason-Dixon line. Refers to a kind of a back-and-forth dance of half-liar's poker and half salesmanship and trying to find out just how much you and your opponent each have on the line. Probably harkens back to the days of the Wild West, when gunslingers would have sport with lesser gunman by making them dance to the bullets expertly shot from their guns at their opponents cowboy boots.

Bloggiced: Hey, we've been gone for quite awhile but we're back with a new word. The editing problems we've been having with two of our other sites (Bring Back the Dodo! and The American Political Handbook) inspired the new word "Bloggiced". Meaning: the mostly annoying phenomena of being unable to edit and arrange page elements due to frozen control bars on Blogger sites.

Please note: Blogger does seem to be aware of this problem, and appears to be working on a fix. Anyone else noticed this problem?
