A dictionary/glossary/lexicon as sort of a cosmic, meeting of the minds, collaboration of the likes of Dan Webster, Sam Johnson, Ambrose Bierce, Hunter S. Thompson, Wm. F. Buckley, Grouch Marx, W. C. Fields and many more... even though its editors are obscure unknowns with dreadfully dangerous senses of humor. Caterpillar

Caterpillar: Not a new word, but a new meaning with a new symbolism. As of yesterday, we aquired the new knowledge that our administrations have avowed and allowed and defended of/to the use of insects (caterpillars in at least one case) to the use of torture of its political prisoners. Definitions: (1) The introduction of insect(s) onto the skin of a detainee/prisoner for the purposes of making the same believe that the insect(s) have a venomous sting. (2) The symbol of the use of covert - and now overt - torture by the US on its political detainees and prisoners. (3) A now legally acceptable practice of cruel and unusual political punishment in the USA.

Example: "Did you inform the prisoner that they had a caterpillar in their head bag?". "Yes. Yes we did".
