Falloon or Farloon

Falloon / Farloon: The unfortunate portmanteaus of farce and balloon. (1) With regards to the recent exploits of the "Balloon family" and "Balloon boy". Isn't 24/7 media coverage of this "event" overdoing it a bit? Hence, the additional farcical nature of this story. (2) The questionable antonym (truncated) of granfalloon. (3) The epigrammatic reference to a granfalloon - like the above...

In our case, we recall (epigrammatically...) the late, great Kurt Vonnegut's book of essays entitled "Wampeters, Foma and Granfalloons". Read it if you can find it...
