Transdiurnal


Transdiurnal: The portmanteau of transition and diurnal. With reference to an animal (in this case the Pipistrellus pygmaeus - a bat) changing its active behavior(s) from nocturnality to diurnality.


Note: At least one other bat species exhibits diurnality - Nyctalus azoreum.
