Decibate: The unfortunate portmanteau of decibel and debate. With reference to the rather stupid high-volume and disturbing protests by the misinformed, the misguided, the political patsies and t**ls of the Right Wing in the healthcare reform debate. In general, the inappropriate and misguided use of high-volume (hence the source of decibel) noisome protests in the 'debate' against any sociologically motivated reform for the common good.
