Bloggipation: The blogger's equivalent of gridlock. Apparently caused (or is it really an effect of?...) by frozen and/or malfunctioning control bars and buttons on the Blogger edit and arrange layouts and other pages. Is the internet gridlock finally here??? (See also Net gridlock by 2010 study warns ).

Blogganasia: Another word inspired by our persistent and annoying problems with malfunctioning controls on one of our Blogger sites (The American Political Handbook). Meaning: the practice of euthanizing ones blog unintentionally through malfunctioning control bars and buttons, or to intentionally euthanize a blog due to inability to edit and arrange blog elements.

Bloggiced

Bloggiced: Hey, we've been gone for quite awhile but we're back with a new word. The editing problems we've been having with two of our other sites (Bring Back the Dodo! and The American Political Handbook) inspired the new word "Bloggiced". Meaning: the mostly annoying phenomena of being unable to edit and arrange page elements due to frozen control bars on Blogger sites.

Please note: Blogger does seem to be aware of this problem, and appears to be working on a fix. Anyone else noticed this problem?

Sucker Coup

Sucker Coup: We know this phrase/word is out there. We recall hearing the Louie DePalma character on the old TV show "Taxi" using it one time. Yet, we could not find it in the slang dictionary on line. We will attempt the definition herein. See the phrase in our posting: The Al Gore Sucker Coup.

"To overthrow one's apparent political rivals, parties, and so on by achievement of phenomenal success in one's arena of choice or skill/expertise by applying the force of the same to one's political advantage. In other words, to sucker the competition by the application of tremendous force, success, accomplishment and so on."

iBrick: We did NOT create the word. We are just adding our definition, to wit: What you get when you try to disconnect your phone service and connect with a third party phone service or attempting to install other third party applications.

From the Daily Tech report: Apple, AT&T Sued for iBricking, Monopolistic Behavior. A quote from the report: ...'The suit further points to Apple's actions with its latest firmware update which unlawfully restrict consumer choice by preventing people from "unlocking" their iPhones, locking out third party applications from its file system and disabling unlocked iPhones turning them into "iBricks".'...

(2) To be almost backed into a corner by one's political colleagues for a correct political stance or strategy on the prosecution of a war (e.g., especially the war on terror) or other political views.
