A dictionary/glossary/lexicon as sort of a cosmic, meeting of the minds, collaboration of the likes of Dan Webster, Sam Johnson, Ambrose Bierce, Hunter S. Thompson, Wm. F. Buckley, Grouch Marx, W. C. Fields and many more... even though its editors are obscure unknowns with dreadfully dangerous senses of humor. Thankstarving

Thankstarving: That's what we'll be renaming Thanksgiving this year. Remember that over 1 billion people will be going hungry this Thanksgiving and the next one and the next one...

See also our posting: The Food Corridors: http://bit.ly/6ghax 'Novel' concept for a new type of non-profit / charity to bring much needed food aid and implements (dowsing rods, well points, shovels, picks, buckets, rope and so on...) to those in the world facing the common enemies of malnutrition, starvation and famine. The charity organization is just now in the concept stages, but we will accept donations and pledges. Please hold on to your donations if you need a tax relief receipt immediately. The idea is to build 'food corridors' for humans much like animal habitat corridors. The concept appears to work for wildlife, why not humanity???You may also contact us through our current Twitter webpage: http://twitter.com/georgek1029, new web pages are being planned for this new non-profit.FOM: Food Corridor, World Focus Tags: 'Saving the Children' , Draining a Nation , The coming famine in Kenya (2009), Guatemala’s children languish from malnutrition , Mau Forest , World food aid at 20-year low, 1 billion hungry, Grow More Food in 50 Years Than All of History?, Asia Faces Food Shortage By 2050 Without Water Reform, World Food Programme (UN), Kenya faces starvation due to drought: UN (CBC News Report Link), Kenyan Herders Devastated As Long Rains Fail (Gabrielle Menezes, WFP), Bread for the World, World Hunger Year Website, Food Security, G8 pledges to boost food , supplies, Climate Change May Spur Chronic Hunger, Oxrfam Says and Oxfam .

You'll find it in our posting on The American Political Handbook: "Detroit, Michigan - The Most Dangerous City in the USA". That's right - we won't be having any turkey and stuffing or pumpkin pie this year. It's OK - we've gone hungry before and we expect we will again. Nor do we expect the local food depot to have any food when we finally arrive, several hours later, by foot. Sorry if we ruined your Thanksgiving. Hope it goes better for you...

Sucker Coup

Sucker Coup: We know this phrase/word is out there. We recall hearing the Louie DePalma character on the old TV show "Taxi" using it one time. Yet, we could not find it in the slang dictionary on line. We will attempt the definition herein. See the phrase in our posting: The Al Gore Sucker Coup.

"To overthrow one's apparent political rivals, parties, and so on by achievement of phenomenal success in one's arena of choice or skill/expertise by applying the force of the same to one's political advantage. In other words, to sucker the competition by the application of tremendous force, success, accomplishment and so on."

iBrick

iBrick: We did NOT create the word. We are just adding our definition, to wit: What you get when you try to disconnect your phone service and connect with a third party phone service or attempting to install other third party applications.

From the Daily Tech report: Apple, AT&T Sued for iBricking, Monopolistic Behavior. A quote from the report: ...'The suit further points to Apple's actions with its latest firmware update which unlawfully restrict consumer choice by preventing people from "unlocking" their iPhones, locking out third party applications from its file system and disabling unlocked iPhones turning them into "iBricks".'...
